Y-Lynx, a provider of embedded software for low-power wireless links, and SEMTECH, a provider of integrated circuits will be showcasing a high-performance AMR (automated meter reading) solution from 30th October to 1st November at the 2004 China (Shanghai) International Water, Electricity & Gas Meters Exhibition. The solution will be shown on stand A11 by SEMTECH distributor Shenzhen Coolwave Communication Co., Ltd

The solution comprises Y-Lynx Radio Modem based on SEMTECH' DP1203 high-performance 'drop-in' module together with the XE88LC06A CoolRISC® controller. The solution is capable of interfacing with electricity, gas and water meters, and has been optimized for the requirements of the local market in China.
